Graduation Week

M graduated this week from the U.S. Air Force Academy! We are all so very proud of him and everything he has accomplished. He received numerous awards on Tuesday for his performance in Aeronautical Engineering, his major, and French, his minor.

Wednesday we watched the cadets put on a parade and M had his commissioning ceremony. It was very touching as his great uncle and uncle commissioned him into his new rank as 2nd Lieutenant.

Finally, Thursday was Graduation day. The traffic was terrible but it was all worth it. The march on was spectacular and seeing Obama walk to the stage was epic. Obama gave a terrific speech which was followed by him congratulating and shaking the hand of every cadet as they received their diploma. Marc completed the year being ranked 18th in his class of 812.
