LAYOVER IN TAIPEI!!!

We have landed in Taipei, Taiwan. We have a 5 hour layover following our 14 hour flight.

Exhausted, but finding the cultural differences interesting. For example, leaving a bathroom and asking them to rate your experience based on emojis.

Once of the perks M has found by being in the military is access to premier lounges. We are currently sitting in one at the TPE airport and man does it feel odd. I would enjoy traveling so much more if I got to spend some time in these areas,   Eating free food with access to clean bathrooms and showers.

I do have to say, I am nervous about this part of the trip. At this lounge they have a “continental breakfast” spread. Can’t read half of the food descriptions and have no idea what they are. So our breakfast has even toast with chocolate spread, cereal, noodles, and cookies and ice cream. Next flight, here we come!
