Luxembourg – Bridges, walls, and coffee

M is on spring break! So we packed our bags and headed north to Luxembourg. This will be my first time to the little country. While M visited Luxembourg City a little over a year ago. First off, the city is gorgeous. When M’s grandfather came to Europe during WW2 he said Luxembourg was the… Read More Luxembourg – Bridges, walls, and coffee

About Us

We are two twenty somethings currently living in a small town in Texas. After 5 years of being in a LDR we packed our bags and decided to go everywhere together. We have been to 4 continents, 30+ countries, and 17 states together and counting. What started as a letter to our family and friends about our travels has grown into sharing stories and memories about all the exciting places we visit.

Marc does not have Instagram, so instead of professing my love of him to 30 friends, my mom, and a few strangers...here is one of my favorite moments from our wedding. Things were slowing down, so we snuck off to a corner with our drinks and took a moment to ourselves. - Santé, to our photographers for capturing it.
The other day we were driving home when I got an IG notification. A year ago I posted our first engagement photo. ❤️ It happened after having dinner with new friends who introduced us to a small town restaurant. The popular spot was fairly remote and across the OK boarder in a town of about 500 people. People would drive for hours to eat at this humble restaurant, which could easily be overlooked if driving by. We ate fried catfish as “y’alls” and “ma’am’s” we’re passed around. 🤠 So when that photo from a year ago popped up, I couldn’t help but turn to Marc and go, “what is this life?!” 🙂 Just a year ago we were drinking the best wine, exploring chateaus, and eating all the cheese. This year we are spending our nights with some of the kindest people you have ever met, chatting over life changing experiences, and planning puppy dates with our military family...in a Southern small town no one has ever heard of, until a woman drank wine from a Pringle’s can at our local Walmart. 🤦‍♀️ I’m liking this military life.
A few moments in the snow, then it’s time for cuddles 🐶
Kaiser is helping me with all my last minute Christmas to-do items, i.e. pulling the branches off the Christmas tree, breaking the wine glasses, sipping mommy’s Baileys when she’s not looking, and putting holes in the Christmas pillows. And I’m not joking.
My bridesmaids brought the heat.
When we first began wedding planning, one of the first things we did was find a photographer for engagement photos. Our first find quoted us $19,000, not including travel fees to France. It quickly became apparent we had no idea what we were doing and needed help. So my mom suggested we seek out a wedding planner, which is when we found the lovely @gingerbeeevents . * This is an appreciation posts for everyone who helped make this happen while we were eating cheese on the other side of the globe. There is no way we would have been able to plan THIS wedding by ourselves. So thank you to everyone. From our wedding planner, @gingerbeeevents, who basically did it all. To our photographer, @mplusl_photo, who captured moments our grandkids will be able to see. Our florist, @bashandbloom, who included STRAWBERRIES in my bouquet. And my college roommate, @hayley_lynnn , who crafted a bunch of paper roses for our photo backdrop. You guys killed it. * Yes, that last photo is us playing hangman with our priest. THAT is how on time everything went. @gingerbeeevents is a rockstar.
