Vienna, Austria – Cathedral Roofs, Green Walkways and Fountains

Vienna was filled with beautiful gardens, tasty food, and grand monuments. We had one full day in the city and spent it on the Hop On / Hop Off bus. Our two big stops was the cathedral and Vienna Palace.

But first we explored the city…

One stop we made sure to make was the Vienna Cathedral. At the end of WW2 there was a fire that destroyed the Cathedral. The town wanted to rebuild it so all residents donated a roof tile. The combination of all the different colored tiles made for some pretty designs.

After the Cathedral we got back on the Hop On / Hop Off buss and headed towards the Vienna Palace.
