Strasbourg Day 3 - Shopping and Comfort Food

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

We got dressed early and started on the markets. We bought cookies, stocking stuffers, hot wine, and warm Aslace noodles(a favorite of mine). My mother even found a manger for her nativity scene. Our shopping day ended with some hot coffee.

For dinner we ate at another favorite restaurant of ours, we simply refer to as "the cave place". It is actually called, Caveau Gutlerhoft. Close enough.

Located near the Strasbourg Cathedral you go down a flight of steps and enter a cave. Your are comforted by its warm decor and even more so by its comfort food. Our favorite being the Roesti.
