Oahu 2016 - Day 5

While yesterday was very frustrating we were determined to make it up today.  We woke up and went to the Aoha Stadium Swap Meet. We bought some souvenirs and gifts for family. Then M and I got a shaved ice which turned into the both of us looking like a pair of starving cultures eating a dead mouse. Our faces as close to the bowl as possible and fighting over the “good pieces”.

Since we didn’t have a car we called for a cheap lift service. Our driver took us back to our hotel pointing out all the best local eats on the island. Which really just turned into him pointing out every hole in the wall place saying they have “The Best (Nationality) Food on the Island”. I became skeptical.

We enjoyed some lunch and then took a long nap since our parasailing reservation was cancelled due to winds.

After our nap, we went to dinner at “The Best Chinese Food on the Island”restaurant and it was ok.
